Must be the reception where I am. I’m using the antenna with the amplifier and my reception is not that good. I lost 2 channels that I had before DTV and this antenna. Oh well, live and learn. DTV stinks.

I figured because it is powered it would work better than the little bunny ears that I had previously, but it doesn’t. I’m not really disappointed, but I probably wouldn’t recommend it.

Oooh, you shouldn’t have asked!! While I don’t have a home theater, I ordered this antenna because I thought it might have the strongest signal and I wouldn’t have to “play” with “ears”. This one is advertised as able to pick up signals from all directions, therefore, no “ears”. Hoorah, I thought! I still am not sure which antenna to order(this is my third one) I’ve turned this thing every way but loose, and to me, it’s no better than some with less features that I’ve tried. The booster did not add anything to the reception. I don’t live in a valley or between tall buildings- which are the usual excuses for bad reception. Frankly, as far as antennas, I’m finished!!

I purchased this for a Haier portable tv that I also got from Amazon. This did the trick, the tv didn’t pull in channels very good without it! the only drawback is the cable is stiff and hard to handle with the tv but I figure after it is used a while they will be ok.

It’s actually worse, i get less signal strength on fox & cbs than with rabbit ears
